Phone plan not used for 4 months and subscription registered on auto payment/ credit card

Noel_M

Hello, my son's phone was lost on 20th July ,and we have received debits on the plan subscription every 21st of the month as per billing cycle. He is on the $25 / month plan.So there has been no usage from 21st July and have received debits with GST/PST at $28 per month for 4 months , so totally $112  billed without any usage.

Pls let me know if this amount can be reversed as phone credit or balance transferred to another public mobile number of his sister . The Subscription is still active. Let me know the best course of action. Thank you.

HI @Noel_M to stop PM from continue charging , please login My Account, use email to recieve 2FA (by clicking Didn't receive code and then Send email).  When you are in My Account, go to Subscription & Add-on , Manage Subscription and disable "Subscribed".  But you only have 90 days to come back to pay and resume service or you will loss your account and phone number

@Noel_M , this service is prepaid and has no refunds in the terms of service.  It is incumbent on the account user to manage payment and usage.  You could use this link to reach out to support to see if they are willing to fulfil your request on an exceptional basis.

HI @Noel_M

first, PM cycle is every 30 days and not monthly, so it won't be every 21st of the month

For the lost phone, you had a choice to use Suspend/Lost phone feature to stop the payment, or simply disable Autopay

So sad to tell you, PM is prepaid provider and do not provide refund, especially in this case you didn't try to disable the payment yourself.  Sorry about that
