Thank you so much!

@Bell3Your understanding is not correct... the list is not mantained by Public.. it is only for reference.

@TerriMyshrallIt will work just fine.

My understanding is that only the phone listed will work.

It is a pretty safe bet if the phone is made and sold for the North American market, is unlocked, and is new, it will work with Public Mobile.  I cannot think of any exceptions to that.

All new Canadian carrier phones are now unlocked, and every one of them with work with Public Mobile.

same here, am planning to get the Samsung Galaxy A70 but it's not on the compatibility list. will get the new phone soon and hopefully it'll work on PM (fingers crossed) lol

Not all phones are listed especially newer models.  Check your phone specs.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

  • 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
  • HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Please note that this information is indicative only. Your phone's compatibility with our 4G or 4G LTE networks is based on the radio frequencies of your phone. Public Mobile does not guarantee that your phone will work on our mobile network.

@TerriMyshrallThe list is for reference only. The way is to test is to get a Telus / Koodo / Public Mobile SIM card into your phone to try. Just make sure your phone is unlocked.
