Hi Monica or Carlos (or anone else helping),
I have received the following message from Public Mobile:
-------------------------------------------------------
Public Mobile Here
You requested to recover the email address connected to your Public Mobile account. Please use the link below to recover your email address.
Recover your account now.
If you did not make this request, feel free to disregard this email.
The Public Mobile Team.

I made no such request and have not authorized any such recovery. I am concerned about phishing attempts and thought that I should report that. Can you please check at your end if it possible to find out where from (or by whom) this was sent? Anyone else received such a message? Let me know please.
Best, Stamos

This is just a click to Forget Password or Forget login name request. Some scammers would randomly put in email or phone number and hope to get something out of it. There is nothing much Public Mobile can do. But good news is that the risk on you is extremely low. So, as the message said : feel free to disregard this email.

If you didn’t request to recover your email don’t click on any link.

Hello @Stamos
This community is run by it's customers. Nobody from Public Mobile will answer this or look into it for you. Just being straight with you. The only real way to tell if this is legit, is to go into your community mailbox located here and see if anyone from CS has messaged you.

If there are no messages there, then it could be sent in error. It could be a phishing email that can be sent to your junk folder.

hi @Stamos you don't need to do anything, just ignore it. Others could have put in the wrong info and happens to be same as yours
if you see this a lot and you are really worried then change the password to something longer and harder to guess , or you can even change the email address to login Public Mobile (From My Account, Profile, Manage Eversafe ID)
