@Kristowhy   Ordering via Amazon could be a good and reliable way.. as long as you have Prime membership..

But yes, I always say Lucky has a good way to promote and sell Sim cards.. Dollarama for $4 or so.  Easy and there is always one around you (for sure more than Telus or Koodo stores)

If that's their strategy then PM is doomed!  Thankfully my ordering experience a year ago for my first PM line was fast and smooth - delivered in 2 days via courier.   There is no way I would have waited 1.5+ weeks like some on this forum have been experiencing.   PM should be reducing friction and barriers to activation as much as possible.  And this is where Bell/Lucky has them beat!  Chasing down a SIM card at a corp store that's far and few even in the GTA is not going to happen.

The bottom tier flanker brands (PM, Chatr, Lucky) attract a particular value focused customer segment, one that does not care for full retail experiences and the rich price tag that comes with tier 1 carriers.  These customers have options and if PM cannot deliver quickly they will go elsewhere.

Other than US roaming (which currently is broken), loyalty points/rewards and just recently new 4G speeds, PM is pretty much the same as Lucky in terms of value prop and network coverage.  Lucky does have the advantage of supporting eSIM, a call center number for support and a vast retail partnership landscape for SIM distribution

@WoozyPolarBear- I go into a corporate Telus store and ask for a Public sim and they basically ignore me and want nothing to do with me.

Public mobile makes it as hard as possible to get a SIM card because they want you to go to a TELUS store to pick one up, where instead of just giving you a Public Mobile SIM card on a $15/month plan, they will try to get you to sign up with TELUS 1st tier service on a minimum $140/month plan and more GB's per second then there are seconds in the month. On top of that, duping you into financing the latest iFruit phone that is marked up 400% to help fund Tim Cook and his fascist empire.  It's the classic bait and switch tactic.

PM will take 3-10 days to ship out to you and Canada Post will take it from there.

It have been know to take up to a total of 3 weeks to arrive.

If you are in a rush, you can pick one up from your local Telus/Koodo store to take advantage of any current promos.

If it is longer than 3 weeks, contact a CS_Agent through private message on the envelope icon above or create a ticket on the SIMon Chatbot on the bottom of page.

Seriously......if PM cannot get a SIM card to a customer in a week or less they deserve to lose that customer!

Even Lucky Mobile says on their website they deliver in 3-5 business days for SIM cards ordered online, or you can grab one at any Dollarama and many other retailers including The Source, BestBuy, Walmart, Canada Post, Circle K and many other retail partners.

PM really needs to step up their game in this regard.
