Only have 5Gb when paying for 20Gb

why hasn’t my data increased to 20?  It has been at least two months since I switched plans.  It show on my account but not in data in settings on my phone.

you said not showing on your data in settings.  Where you see not showing? can you send a screenshot?

Some people use the phone limiter as a self-stop in case of overage charges from the provider. Or just to not use all their data by some surprise. This place has no overage charge. Data just stops. Or goes really slow for the unlimited.
If your menu system is like mine - turn on cell data and go to settings, connections, data usage, billing cycle and data warning and set things however you like. Also realize that the phone knows what a month is but it doesn't handle the 30 days that this place uses.

Android. As far as I know there is no limit set.  Why would there be?

Are you referring to the data counter app on your phone?l

If you are referring to the data plan you have. On the Overview section under data usage…it will show your data plan in MB under Data Usage.

Data quantities of a plan don't transfer to your phone. They're just there and available. Your phone might have a setting that limits the amount you can use. Android or iphone?
