Old points before May 2024 just gone like that?

With new reward point system since May 2024, do I lose all old points or they will be converted?  Previously I have total $8 monthly credit from loyalty/referrals over the years with Public Mobile, after May 2024 I see only a portion of these credit converted to new points monthly.  Do I lose the rest?
I opened a ticked for this, but agent answer to me was to read the message from May for points conversation.  Then I will understand.  So I should lose those old credits? The new points was just made to get rid of credits I had before? Hope someone can explain to me why…

Not happy with this!   Anyone can help? thanks!

on the $15 plan there is no data included (which is what @cath_fo said she in on), you get unlimited Canada-wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging. For existing customers the cheapest plan that includes data costs $19 per month for 1 GB at 4G speed

hi @RongC what plan you have now?? if you have old $25 or $35 plan, changing plan could save you money

but yes, other than friend referrals rewards are the same, the rest are different. 5% back of money spent and only 10 bonus points once a year

The legacy rewards is zero friction whereas the new points rewards require manual intervention to convert 15 points at a time for $15.  This is in addition to a 5x shrinkage in the loyalty rewards.  The autopay and give back rewards are pretty close and identical for a $40 plan.

PM did send out emails and text messages back in March advising of the change, it sounds like you missed it

You'll continue to receive points for your referrals but instead of the auto renew discount you will get 5% back on whatever you paid on your bill and you will get 10 points each year on your renewal anniversary. You'll need to accumulate 15 points to manually apply a $15 bill credit

Same here.

Used to pay 11$ for my 15$ plan because of my loyalty. It had been brought back to 15$+tax now. I wish we'd have a text or something about that.

I just switched plan for the 19$ one since it made no sense to me to pay 15$+tax for 100 minutes and 250 meg of data.
