I recently switched to PM from Koodo.
As instructed, I created new phone number with PM and asked to port my number from Koodo. Everything went smooth and woking fine but there is one thing that bugs me heck out of me.
If I go to settings on my phone it still displays the phone number I initially created with PM. That number is not in service and I get calls with my ported phone number.
So why is my phone still showing that number as mine? Is there anything I can do to have right phone number to be shown on my phone setting?

Hey @dubiduba,
If the port has completed and the porting # is fully functional, then this means that the port has completed.
Changing SIM card # would rectify the phone number issue.

Yes I have no problem getting calls or making calls with the ported number. And when I called the temp number it said it's not in service so I think porting was successful except it's just popping up on my phone info.
If nothing helps I might order another sim card and switch to see whether it solves the issue.

It could be a Public issue as I find it very odd the A7 & Note7 also show temporary number
Has port fully completed?

Current phone is LG K4 but I don't think it's phone problem as I have pulled out the sim card and tried on Galaxy A7 and note7 as well. They were all showing the old number. So I thought it was Sim card issue.
