If I want to transfer my Fido account to public mobile, can I still use Fido SIM card or have to purchase a new public mobile SIM card?

Anytime, you got it. Check with Telus to see if they have the promotion still. I even called Telus myself and confirmed that promotion code worked for today.

@turok_t Wow really , I got ripped then I just spend $30 bucks getting 3 sims from local Koodo kiosk few days ago . I’m going back and trying that for 3 more SIM cards thanks for that suggestion that’s my mission tomorrow:)

You will need a PM sim card. If you get from your local telus store, you can get one for free. If you tell them to run the code PUBLICMEP, they can give it to you for free as a promotion. That is what I did today, not sure if it will work tomorrow as all the promotions seem to end on dec 2.

@W1294312943 You need new public mobile SIM card to transfer the Fido number to Public mobile . Leaving Fido account active and sim in-the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text from Fido to transfer number to PM
once you have successfully ported number to PM it will automatically close your Fido account @W1294312943
