Hi there,
I lost my old public mobile SIM card on vacation. I bought a new SIM and I want to keep my old number.
When I go to register the new SIM - It brings me to my existing public mobile account which still has my old SIM card credentials, number etc. So I don't think I'm actually able to register my new SIM card here. I try to "change SIM" but it won't let me continue as it's specifically asking for a text code which I can't access.
Please help. I want to keep my number and register the new SIM.

no worries, you can still open ticket by direct message for PM to help. You won't need the 2FA code for that
You only need to message them here:

Hey @BKNS27,
I tired to do this but it asks for two factor authentication to change SIM. And it's send a confirmation code to my old number... Since this is associated with my lost SIM card I can't access the message or confirmation code.

Try the PM app then go to Account tab then Change Your SIM Card and enter the new SIM card S/N number then everything will be transferred to the new SIM.

You should TRANSFER number, not 'register' it.
Look through the PM site for the place to replace SIM number. Should be easy to find...
If you register it most likely PM will assume your are NEW customer.
