Hi,
I have a physical sim card from Virgin which I want to port to an eSIM at Public Mobile. Virign sent me the number authorization message and I replied to it. However, Public Mobile sent a message saying it could not transfer the number due to incorrect ESN/MEID provided. At this point, I figured out that a transfer from a physical SIM from another provider to eSIM is not possible. I changed the SIM type at Virgin to eSIM (could not activate it due to invalid qr code on their website; need to visit a branch) and updated the IMEI number to match the eSIM.
TL;DR: I want to initiate the transfer process again as it looks like it didn't work. Since I've changed the IMEI at virgin to match my eSIM's IMEI, I think it might work this time. If not, please let me know how I can solve this issue. @CS_Agent

You will have to provide them with the account number from virgin instead of the IMEI. I will send you the number to the porting department to help you! Please check your private messages for my message. Envelope icon on desktop or click the avatar logo in the corner and then messages if on mobile.

@ShankarG Should just use virgin account number not IMEI . No worries I’ll send you porting team number and give them the account number only and they can re trigger the port request
