Hi,
Just switched from Wind today, while the process of signing up was extremely easy, my number has yet to port over.
Ive done some searching and have read that it takes a couple of hours for the port to complete, its going on almost 9 hours now without completion.
Just looking for any insight as to how long I should be expected to wait.

sometimes ports take up to 24 hr, does it work now? if not mod will apear in an hour or so

Yeah I figured the mods would be a sleep at this hour, but thanks for the help and quick reply!
I'll send a private message with the details.
No outstanding balance or Wind tab left, everything is always paid in full before its due.

Hi @Moonboots,
The moderators have gone home to their families and beds for the evening, but will be back at 9AM eastern tomorrow morning. I would recommend you send @Shazia_K a private message with your porting details, including you temporary PM phone number (or SIM card number if you didn't start with a temporary number), your Wind phone number you are porting, your Wind Account Number, and your name exactly as it appears on your Wind statement or self-serve system, and one of the moderators can help you as soon as possible tomorrow.
One other thing you could check: do you have an outstanding balance with Wind? If so, can you make a payment to see if that lets the port through?

Restarted the phone just after throwing the sim in the phone.
I'm able to use data without issue and I can dial out, but no text messages or incoming calls yet.
I recieved a automated text message from PM about the port being in progress, but that was 2 hours after signing up and 6 hours ago.
If a mod could chime in and lend a hand, that would be great!

Mine took about an hour to port. Try rebooting your phone in case it didn't register the SIM correctly. You will get a text message once the port is complete

Firstly, I would recommend that you try restarting your phone, sometimes it helps like it did for me.
If it still isn't working, I'd reccomend you message one of the moderators on this forum to help you. If the mods are off for the day, you can try going to the "get help" section, then click "contact us" , then select "SIM and Activation", then "porting", then follow the prompts.
