Number port issues from Fido

Hello,

 

Over the weekend I have attempted to port my mother's phone number from Fido to Public Mobile. From the most part, things are working in the sense that outgoing calls are working and showing up with the correct telephone number, but incoming is not working. Found out last minute that there was some outstanding balance on the Fido account when the port occurred. That has now been settled and reporting 0.00 balance on Fido.

 

How do I "re-initiate" the port to Public Mobile that all the balance has been paid off?

fido would bill you for whatever outstanding balance, the experience that you had was due to the port glitch.

It's more likely your porting got stucked in process. Even though if there s an outstanding balance on fido account porting have nothing to do with it. Because once porting get completed then fido will send u last invoice either way if you have outstanding balance or even if fido owe you some money.
Send a msg to mod they will look after you
Send your email address and phone number sim number fido account number.

best to actiually sendthem a private message with the porting data:

fido account number, fido account name  fido number and PM email  any other info that can help verify the PM account  address etc..)

 

the mods will definatly ask the porting info from you.

I don't know if the outstanding balance on the account would have anything to do with it. But start with messaging the MOD team
