Hi,
Re the current promotion offer of Oct 20-21 2018. If someone avails this offer, can he delay porting the number for another two months or so: if yes, would there be any charges porting the number later.

You must be a 100% right about not being charged for porting to PC. I was essentially referring to porting land-line numbers from one land-line co to another land-line co.

Customers in the past have ported landlines to public mobile and they were not charged by Public Mobile from my understanding. Not sure if your landline company charges the customer to port out. It just takes longer to port landlines to the mobile line.

Thanks again. No, I haven't had that experience but was apprehensive as some mobile carriers did charge porting fee - at least earlier.
Land-line number porting though is invariably charged by all companies.

@sa7375 - Also, you would be paying for two plans for the two months.

You can wait for two months to port, but you would have to keep your other acct open for the two months. Once you close the other account the number is taken back by the provider.
