Number Porting Completed - Still not functioning

Macdon
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

I created a new account, installed the E-sim, and requested the phone number to be ported from RingCentral.  There were some issues in the process, it has been resolved and I have been told by tech support the porting was successful, but I am still not showing anything under my Public Mobile account, and under the E-sim settings on my iPhone there is no phone number listed.  I have restarted the phones once a day for the last two days, and nothing has resolved the issue yet.

Hello @ Macdon,

I sent you a private message. You can view it by accessing this link: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage

@Macdon

You will likely need to follow up with customer service agent (PM employee).  I will try to escalate to CSA_PM, who should directly private message you.  If no answer within next one hour, I would submit a ticket for CSA help..

So I am using this PM E-sim as a third line on my phone for a business. So don't want it set as a primary, nor can I reset network settings.

Confirm if your PM sim is the only one enabled on the phone, set the label to Primary

Try Reset network settings after a device reboot

and then try the following , check if mobile data and if you can make outgoing calls.   If these work, then the sim was provisioned properly

then check if incoming calls works as well.   if the incoming calls do not come to the PM sim, then port was not done

HOWEVER, RingCentral is a VoIP provider, and porting from VoIP provider could take as many as 7 days.  So, it could be normal that the port is still not completed
