Not unified - English/French- Private message?

Anyone know if there is a reason why the private messages in the English forums are not the same as the French forums?

Mobile browser Chrome.

English:

French: You have to click the arrow pointing down to switch categories (ex: Inbox to Sent)

Would be better if both were the same no?

@Jb456  It's just a friendly quirk. Or, perhaps, les Quebecois prefer that style. More realistically, an oversight during implementation.
