Nokia 8 and Samsung J3

Hi everyone,

I tried the compatibility tool with no luck.

just wondering if Nokia 8 and Samsung J3 can be used on Public mobile?

@Perryb My Samsung J1 works perfectly with PM, so J3 should to.

They should be compatible as long as they are unlocked and North American version.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

• 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
• HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Please note that this information is indicative only. Your phone's compatibility with our 4G or 4G LTE networks is based on the radio frequencies of your phone. Public Mobile does not guarantee that your phone will work on our mobile network.

This link you put up here is super helpful to know, it would be nice if PM just had that on their web page. If the tool they provide is not accurate, that's not helpful.

Looking through the List it looks like your Samsung Galaxy J3 is compatible as you can see from the screenshot below. I could not find the Nokia 8. 

You can go to the get started screen and look at the list to see if your phone is compatible.
