hello im trying to switch from chatr to public mobile and im waiting for the text request to transfer providers and close my old account but i'm not receiving anything

hi, i actually didnt realise i needed to have the old SIM in, instructions online i followed before were so vague lmao. thank u so much, i managed to get it working!

There is a number to call to talk to live support, they can re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) . Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed

@talaa make sure you download the PM app to the phone you wish to use for the new service. Now, if you have done that and gone through the steps and still aren’t receiving the text from chatr to release your account. Ensure the chatr sim is still in your phone and active. If it is, you will need to reach out to chatr and see if they can initiate the request again. Unfortunately, based on the info you provided, it seems as though chatr is still in control and PM support (including the community here) can’t be of much assistance. Hope this helps and best of luck!
