@Rdasm wrote:@Tajinderplease check your phone's IMEI if its compatible with PM in the cehck your phone section here (https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-started). Once confirmed, check if your plan is activated by logging in (https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/). Usually it takes around 10-15 mins for a plan to be activated. Reboot your phone just in case. Contact a moderator if you have checked all the above.
Hope this helps
@Rdasm @Tajinder unfortunately, the IMEI checker on Public Mobile's site isn't very accurate for compatibility. You should still use it to verify your phone hasn't been blacklisted (reported as lost/stolen), but for compatbility, you should check on https://www.willmyphonework.net.

@Tajinder please note that @LEGO and @GreatCanadian have nailed the two most likely issues:
1) Your phone may not be compatible with Public Mobile. If you post the brand and model (please be as specific as possible with the model number), we can help check.
2) Your phone may be locked to another network. If you bought it from a carrier other than Telus or Koodo, and prior to Dec 2017, it is almost certainly locked to that network and needs to be carrier unlocked to use with Public Mobile. You will need to contact that original provider and ask them for an unlock code.

Is the phone unlocked?

@Tajinder what phone are you using? Is it new, a used phone? Can you try your sim in a different phone and a different sim in your phone. This isolates account vs hardware issues.

@Tajinder, did you check your network settings? Is your network set to automatic? Can you see Public Mobile / Telus as an available network that you can select?

You can try powering off your phone and taking out the SIM and re-inserting it.
