I am currently in Mexico and if I’m not connected to Wi-Fi, I have no data

make sure Roaming data is turned on

Change the network connection to Manual and manually connect try each of these 3 networks AT&T, Movistar or Telcel

If you have the Canada / us / Mexico plan ? ...make sure to enable Roaming in the settings of your cell. You'll automatically connect to the better of AT&T, Telcel or Movistar.
