No data on new phone

Epicurus

I just bought a Unihertz Titan pocket as a second phone (Android 11). My SIM card has been working in my Galaxy Note for 5 years. But when I move it to the new phone I get calls and text but no data. I have done a hard reset on the new phone and checked that:

Data turned on

Tried roaming settings

Network settings reset

I did a frequency check (dialed *#0011#) and got "Connection problem or invalid MMI code".

It works fine when I put it back I the Galaxy Note.

Which part? The ip address and port or the apn type?

This is the correct setup. Softech's configuration did not allow upload/download of pictures and files over MMS. Thank y you very much!!

Actually.... this configuration did not allow for upload/download pictures or files on MMS. I used the proxy settings from computergeek541 and it worked. Thank you very much.

Worked! Thank you so much.

This is a lkely an APN setting issues. Please use these settings as a starting point:  https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Get-Support/How-do-I-set-up-data-APN-on-my-smartphone...

@Epicurus

a brief google at the spec look like it has enough compatible bands for PM.

Your phone bands spec:  https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/44105ba6

And PM uses this:  E-Band-Frequency.jpg

So, it down to APN.  A quick fix is to try "Reset All Networks" and see if the correct APN comes down

If not,  Please try to manually update the APN and make yours match these:

APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy:
Port:
Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Server:
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS Proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca
MMS Port: 8799
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
         or    default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
(might need to include dun for hotspot)
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
or  Turn APN on/off APN turned on
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator) type: GID
MVNO (Mobile virtual network operator)value: 4D
