Good morning,
I have a question and a comment about the ever safe feature.
How can you turn off this feature? I should be able to sign in from any device if I choose to without two factor authentication. Now two factor authentication is the default option. The two factor authentication should be an option if someone chooses it. Most websites that offer two factor authentication offers it as an option not the default option.
some people may decide not to use two factor authentication for any reason.
For example, I use a strong password and safeguard my information, but don't usually use two factor authentication. I am a blind computer user and two factor authentication is not always accessible with my screen reading program. For example, I can use the myaccount on my computer, but can't use it on my phone because of its inaccessibility.
Another thing which I am surprised if it hasn't been brought up yet.
Lost or stolen phone, If my phone is lost or stolen, I can lock it remotely, however, with two factor authentication, I need my phone to receive a code to access my account. but my phone is lost or worst stolen. I can't receive a code
to access my account.
As a result, the feature lost or stolen phone can never be used. I access myaccount on my computer and my phone. So I may be able to use this feature. but most users only use their phone to access my account. If their phone is lost or stolen, they can't use another device to access myaccount without receiving the code. Why can't we use a verification question instead of or in addition to two factor authentication.
Thank you for your attention and I hope someone from PM reads this message and conveys it to the technical team.

For seeing people, there is a clickable link called Resend code under the boxes where the code goes. It goes to a screen with options to send to sms again (as it does initially anyway) and to email and a recorded call-back with a code. But I don't know how non-seeing people navigate these kinds of screens.
If you allow cookies to be saved then there's also a checkbox to tell the system that it's a so-called trusted device and then it should stop requiring the code. My bank works like this too in a way. Once I tell it that this is me logging in on this foreign to it device then it's happy.
Adding - to answer the question, you can't.
