I just signed up for Public Mobile. Activated my SIM card and paid for the plan. My phone is still showing no service but has the proper data ibm

Hello @weswilliams , 

 

To add to @JK8 post, if your phone is locked to its previous provider, contact the previous provider to unlock it for you. No charge to you.

You will need your imei number dial *#06# to get it.

 

You may just need to be reconnected to the Public Mobile network.

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode

*reboot your phone again

I guess you  are activating your line with a new phone number (no number porting).  

 

Try reboot your phone every 15 mins.

Log into your self serve account to check the status.  Did you port your phone number over to PM ?  Try rebooting your phone..
