No SIM Card Since Nov 22, and Request for $34 for 40 GB of 5G Deal

Hello,

We purchased a subscription for 5 G 20 GB for $34, plus a $5 SIM, on Nov 22. No SIM card has yet arrived. We cannot wait 10 business days and would not have selected this method if we had known it would take so long.

1. Are we able to purchase the SIM card in a store near us (e.g. Mobile Klinik or Koodo Store) and utilize that instead of waiting for the SIM card we purchased online?
2. If we do so, are we able to get a refund for the $5 already spent on the SIM card that did not arrive?
3. Because we were waiting on a SIM card and were unable to finalize the subscription, we were unable to request a change in our plan to the $34 for 40 GB of 5G available over Black Friday. We put in a ticket about that but did not hear back. We would like to request a change to the $34 for 40 GB of 5G.

I don't know for sure but suspect the purchase of a plan with SIM card is not linked to a specific SIM. If so, any unactivated SIM should suffice for full activation.

sim card delivery sometimes take long

1. yes, you can buy PM sim card from Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klink store.  

2.  yes, Just submit ticket with CS agent for reimbursement for the extra sim card you buy in person

3. that depends on what agent says.  If you messaged them, check the community inbox for their reply

SIM. Card can take up to 3 weeks to arrive .if you need one sooner try calling local Telus Koodo stores for in person pick up or order from Amazon .otherwise reach out to support for a status up date for when it shipped and when you can expect it . Or if you can get a credit for buying a new SIM card .message support directly while your already here and logged in the community you can send a  private message   To CS_Agents click
