I recently switched to public mobile, I picked the $40 plan...thing is, I can not access the internet, why is it that I can't access the internet with my phone when I am suposed to have 2GB of Data with this 40$ plan?

Got it, thank you! I figured it out and yes, calling and texting works great! It was the APN settings...added and changed!

Have you verified that your phone is compatible with the Public Mobile (Telus) network? It would assist us if you could provide the make and specific model of the device, as many phones bought from outside of Canada and the US will not work (maybe partly) with the network.

Few questions, does your call/texting work as they should?
Have you set up the correct Public Mobile APN settings on your phone? Have a read through this topic for instructions on how to update your APN:

You need to setup a new APN settings for Public Mobile.
