Enrolled in PM this morning, selected PM number and loaded esim config. Iphone 13. No other SIM's loaded.
No text messages (in or out). Can call
Have: Reset network settings, ensured line enabled, disabled imessage, made sure MMS messaging enabled.
Ideas?

Hi agent confirmed NOT a porting issue. This is a public mobile number from their pool.
Phone outbound works, not inbound
Text messaging does not work in either direction

if it was not a ported in number, than that team won't be able to help. Please wait for support to reply the ticket you submitted earlier
For now, try your sim in another phone. And test by changing the network mode to 3G only and see if inbound calls work

Thanks its not a port but a brand new pm number. Will call them anyways in vain hopes to speak with someone

Did you get a text from the old carrier, did you reply YES? It looks like the port was not done
It could be an incomplete port. PM porting support team can help. I have sent you the porting support team number. Please check your Community inbox (envelope on top right), check for the number and call

if SMS only, probably a problem with activation. Please ask PM agent to refresh your account.
