Hi purchased new phone and picked up a sim card from Koodo cause I didn't want to wait for snail mail. Went through all steps and set up new number. On the app everything says account active. But sim won't register on network. Son in law put his sim in the phone and works fine. Put mine in his and says not registered. Do I need a new sim?

Did you resetting the network settings and reboot your phone by powering off then back on?

@Kharnett Just to clarify, the sim you picked up was a Public Mobile sim? Is the phone brand new?
