I'm wondering if I am able to switch my information to a new sim card?
The new phone I want to use only takes a nano sim card, and my old sim isn't nano. I don't want to cut it myself lol. I ordered a new sim card. Is there any way I can transfer my plan, phone number, etc to the new one without starting over? Thanks

You didn't bother to read OP's post and replies correctly. They have a six year old Sim card.

@Maria_whatever Public Mobile sim cards are tri punch. You card can easily convert to nano. Please use this picture as a reference just need to put a little pressure on the card.
FYI: They weren't always tri cut. Tri cut Sim started around 2015/2016 with a suggestion of a Public Mobile Community member @chukdefatey Before that you had to order each Sim size individually

@Maria_whatever, switching SIM cards is a relatively easy step that you can do in the self serve. Just select the change SIM card option and type in the new SIM card number, insert new SIM card into the phone, reboot. The change takes place immediately.

Public Mobile has a Pretty Decent self serve site, which let's you do a lot of things yourself. Log in to selfserve.publicmobile.ca when you have your new tri-cut Sim in your hand and simply do a Sim Swap from your old Sim to the new one. It immediately gets swaped onto the new sim

Yes. Log-in to your account, then in the "my profile box" choose "change SIM"

For sure you can change the number of your new sim in your self-serve account in tab PLAN/ADD ONS CHANGE SIM NUMBER and you will not loose anything.

Yes, the old sim is my original one from when I started with public mobile, about 6 years ago. It's been through many phones, so really don't want to attempt the cut myself.

Is the "old" SIM really old? Is there a chance it was a tri cut SIM, and maybe it just needs to be punched out?
Just checking
