Hi,
I'm current PM plan expires today.
I also have another PM plan which wasn't activated. I would like to activate it with my current phone number.
However, it's prompting me either 'Transfer Number' or 'Choose a new number' which I don't want to.
Please help.
Thanks.

Sorry @Chander_Bal
you cannot swap numbers between 2 accounts. You can only port in the number from another carrier, not from another PM account

As you've stated before, both numbers are with Public Mobile. So there are two options here. One, port the number you want to keep to another provider. That means you'll have to purchase another SIM card from someone else, purchase their cheapest plan, wait a few days and then go into the account you want and port that number back here.
If I'm being completely honest, I think that is way too much work and costly to get the plan you want at the price point you want. I just took a look and I understand you want to stick at the $29 mark with the other plan. The above is the only option. The next option I see, and I know it's a bit more but it does offer much more value in the long run. $35 Canada US 60GB of data and 500 intl minutes. That should be on the list. Think about this. All the extra money and time you spend to port out and then port to the plan you want vs paying $6 more a month getting 400 more intl minutes and 40 GB more data. Just saying, there is way better value moving up to the $35 plan if it's on your list. If you choose that, at least today is the renewal date so it won't cost more if it hasn't been paid yet. I hope all the above made sense.

hi @Chander_Bal
you can only choose the plans available on the Change Subscription page on your My Account. You cannot request to change to other plan not showing there
so, if the plan you want is not there, sorry, you have to settle with the next best

There is a $29 20 GB plan but with no International Minutes(IM) and I need IM and I don't want to spent more than $29.

I think you've got it right.
I currently have a $29(10GB/250 Int. Mins) plan which expires today on one email address.
I also have another $29(20GB/100 Int. Mins) to be activated on a different email address.
My requirements have changed and would like to activate the 2nd plan with my current phone #.Thanks.
Great. I'm so glad I read your question correctly. 🙂
So here's the thing. If you go to your first account, log in via the app, go to Change Subscriptions and see what offers are there. The $29 20GB plan may actually be there and all you have to do is switch there. You wouldn't need the other plan. Make sense?

Hello @Chander_Bal
The way I'm reading your post is the following.
You have a plan with a phone number you want to keep. That plan expires today. However, you purchased a second plan ( which I gather is a better offer ) and you want to transfer your number from the other plan to this plan. Is that correct?
If this is indeed the case, contacting Customer Service will not help you. Public Mobile doesn't allow porting numbers from one account to another. The only real option you have is to port the number you want to keep to another service provider, then port that number back to the account you want. Does that make sense?
If I'm reading your question incorrectly, please let us know.

hi @Chander_Bal
if you just need to replace the sim card for your current account to keep the same number, all you need to do is to login My Account, go to Profile and click the pencil to the right of the sim card number and update
if you cannot login My Account, just ask PM support agent to help to update the sim card number
