I just switched to public mobile. I can make phone calls but I cannot text. And, I have no data.

I am good now. It took longer than what I expected to get everything working.

Another option to add the the other fellas comment, try your SIM card in another phone if you have that option. Sometimes SIM cards just need a little kick in the butt sort of speak to work just right. Then if it does work, then place it back in your phone.

If your old SIM is still working then porting was incomplete.
You will need the assistance of a CS_Agent to complete the porting by submitting a ticket on the Chat bubble.

Did you respond "yes" to your previous carrier port request text? Did you activate physical SIM card versus eSIM? Which model phone?
Reboot your phone. Maybe try a network reset of phone (note: this will erase saved Wifi passwords)
