I have created an account for aidan xxxxxx my son and activated the sim card with a new phone number to my old cell phone for him but it is not connecting to the newtwork. What must i do?

Perform a Reset of the Network Settings with the Public Mobile SIM card inside.

@Aidan2009 one thig to try is putthe new sim in your phone or another working phone. this will help isolate an activation issue vs hardware issue. also what is your city?

@Aidan2009 : What's the make/model/submodel of the phone? Is it unlocked from whatever provider the old phone might have been on?

do one thing Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,
and take your SIM card out and waiting for a 2 minute and put it back and turn on -This one is quick and simple.
what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.
or can you do try reseat the SIM card
1. power off your device
2. take out the SIM card,
3. wipe it clean SIM card,
4. put it back and power on,
5. toggling airplane mode off/on,
and do again Rebooting your phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

@Aidan2009 What brand/model is the phone?
is the phone unlocked?
What is showing on the screen? any error? Does it show Public Mobile on top or the network status?
Do you have another phone to test to confirm if account was setup properly?
