Network Locked Phone

Greetings,

Can anyone help me unlock my phone. The phone was locked by Public. Is there anyone at Public that may be able to provide  a network key?

@dattardo   is this a new phone? or you used this phone on another network without issue? 

What kind of phone is that (brand/model)?

Is this the screen message you are getting? If so the default code is 1234 but only try that once.

@dattardo are you sure it is locked to Public Mobile? Are you porting out of Public Mobile?

• Toggle Off/On airplane mode.
• Restart your device.
• Manually select the Public Mobile network on your device network settings
• Test your SIM card on a different device.

Public Mobile doesn't lock devices. Is your phone asking for a SIM Network Unlock PIN?  Also, which SIM card is in the phone when you get asked for this? If you receive this type of message with the Public Mobile SIM card inserted, this means that the device is locked to a different carrier.
