I am in Hawaii trying to check massage but needed password, I never have to put password on checking massage at home Canada,
anyone know why?

@Vtan - if you don't know your voicemail password, as darilicous mentions you could reset it through self serve here:
https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/Overview/plan-and-Add-ons/reset-voicemail-password/
Once you do this, it will erase whatever password may have been set up, and your temporary one will be your 10-digit phone number. When you go back to your voicemail, enter your 10 digit phone number and it will prompt you to select a 4-15 digit password.
Also, the copying and pasting of contacting CSA by the other member is quite unnecessary for your needs; you do not need to contact customer support for your question.

@Vtan your voicemail pin may be 4-15 digits. Your account PIN is only ever 4 digits.
Are you roaming in Hawaii, or do you have your phone on call forwarding? If you are dialing your voicemail from your device, it is likely you are not asked for your PIN (unless you have that feature turned on in your voicemail settings).
Calling your voicemail from another line (voip/landline/other cell number) may require that password option.
At least, that is how it works when I call via my phone, or from another number/device.

It's probably asking for your voicemail password. It may be because you are getting routed to the external voicemail phone number rather than just dialing from your phone like normal? If you don't know your 4 digit voicemail pin # you can reset it by logging into your self serve account and reset it on the overview page by choosing reset voicemail pin #. Follow the instructions to reset.

@Vtan - your subject says Text message. Have you received a text message about needing a password to retrieve your voicemail messages?
Is this your Public Mobile messages you are speaking of?
