Hi,

Thanks for the help. Support put the old number back on and it is working great now. No pony required 🙂

Complex. Makes my head spin

So I'd follow @MetaMorpheusMob original advice and contact a CS Agent with link she provided you.

You MAY need to open a new account which will give you a temp number but the CS Agent will advise what the best move is. And if you have to open a new account, don't forget to use your code to get your daughter $10 one time discount and you're monthly credit.

And finally, beg for your daughter's forgiveness and tell her you'll buy her a pony for her birthday. Then laugh and say just kidding. I'm sure she thinks it's the end of the world at her age but she'll forgive you in time with whatever present you buy her to make up for your mistake. Good luck to you @Rider1965

Yep - that is it. I left out the evil looks I got from my daughter!

I think I got it @Rider1965

You meant to port a Bell number to YOUR account. However, when you logged into what you THOUGHT was your PM account, was actually your daughters and you didn't realize. So you ported the Bell number to that account, said YES to the Bell text and now the port was complete....  BUT it was to your daughters account and you didn't realize it. So now your daughters number is no longer on her phone and her account has pretty much been cancelled. The Bell number has gone back to Bell but your daughters phone number and account is no longer.

Does this sound about accurate?

Hi.

So we have two phones - one that had a bell number on bell and another phone on public mobile. I was trying to move my son's Bell number to a new account on public. I was in the wrong account and transfered it to my daughters phone. We have transfered the Bell number back to bell but are unable to restore her phone to the orginal public mobile number. Once we have fixed that mistake I will bring the Bell number to the correct account.

HI @Rider1965

so, your PM number got "wiped" because of the port?  then it is easy, just submit a ticket with PM agent, they will probably able to help and reassign you the number

Hi,

So I was logged into the wrong account when I ported a Bell number over. That number did port and replace the number on the account. The Bell number has been ported back to Bell (long story) but I need to restore the original number on the public account.

Hi. The number I ported has gone back to bell. Long story but I blew up my daughters phone as it shows the other number on the account, the phone has no number. Just need to fix her phone before she kills me 🙂

@Rider1965

I will private message you the number to help with porting.  That area may or may not be able to assist depending on how far you have gotten with the process.

To check your private messages, look at the envelope icon between your avatar and the bell icon on the upper right.

Alternatively, tap your avatar upper right and go down to messages to retrieve it.
