Read my post about porting is a 2 stage process.

Did you reply your old provider SMS port out confirmation message?

If not, create a support ticket to get CS Agent to send a request to you old provider again.  Put your old SIM card in your phone to receive the "port out comfirmation SMS"  form your old provider.  They need your confirmationbefore releasing your phone number to PM.  As soon as your old provider released your phone number to PM.  You will receive your incominf calls and messages.

When you call the telus porting department with number supplied in the link by @dust2dust make sure you have your old provider's account number handy and the old Sim card in your phone to reply YES to the PAT (porting authorization text) within 90 minutes of receiving it.

Mobile number ports complete within 2 hours but usually no more than a half hour. You may need to contact the telus porting department to check on the status of your port as an error may have been made during the request if it takes any longer. Landline ports normally complete within 2 business days but may take up to 7+ days depending on the provider or if it's from a voip provider.

If you activated with a temporary phone number you can make the port request yourself in your self serve account on the profile page where it says "change phone number" You will need to enter the full name on the account, provider, account # and the phone # to be ported.

If you are porting from koodo prepaid or PC Mobile you will need to contact customer support as they are the only ones who can complete the number transfer.
