Hello. I have been a loyal customer with public mobile for almost 4 years now. I have preauthorized payments. I am alsmot 78 years old and this is my favourite mobile company. The most I can afford is $15 a month. The issue is that I take bus whever I go and do not have enough data to find the bus and check the bus schedule. Sometimes I get lost and wait for many hours because of this. Please help me as I am your loyal customer. Please can you help me to get more data without having to pay more than $15 a month.

No $20 credit is only for Oracle members. Since you are classified as a Great Neighbour. You need to participate a lot to earn $1 to $15 credit on this Community. You only made 2 posts so far.

@Barbarah1 , sorry to burst your bubble, but that $20 reward is a mere marketing ploy.
Loyalty rewards are different from community rewards - loyalty rewards are automatically showing up after a full year as customer and are yours without ever participating in the community.
Only the oracles (appointed by PM) get $20 of community rewards. Nobody except Public Mobile knows the formula of the award table, but getting the top awards would require you to be here several hours a day and providing fast and accurate information essentially the minute someone posts a question. This community is heavily policed, don't even bother repeating what others said hours ago upthread without bringing up something everybody overlooked (not that the later is any guarantee that your contribution will be erased nevertheless). I'd say for the average person, swinging by occasionally and contribute as they can, $0, $1 or $2 is more realistic.

@Yousufmansuri1 Since you are senior, you are qualified for senior discounts at Telus. I know you don't want to pay more than $15, but this plan from Telus sounds really good if you can afford to pay $25.

1. With nearing 4 years, you should have $4 off.
2. With autopay, you should have $2 off.
So you have $6 off of $15 which means the $15 that you can afford, you are only paying $9. Therefore you have spare $ for data.
To the others here, keep in mind new data is only good for 30 days for @Yousufmansuri1
And will there be any new data freebies that don’t expire? Some how, I doubt it.
@Yousufmansuri1 perhaps you should find free wifi. There are apps out there that tell you where it is. If you are a Shaw or Telus customer you may find some, where you need it. Then there is Starbucks, Home Depot, BC liquor stores, etc.
Also you might want to see if Telus or Shaw will reduce your monthly bill to help out, if you pay for those home services.
Or look at making more interest on your savings account at Oaken, People’s Trust, Hubert or Accelerate.
Don’t some bus stops have a phone number and stop number to text to and they text the eta back to you?

Unfortunately, you will need to purchase another 200mb of data for $5.
If you have a smartphone, you can download a Transit app for your city. I use it a lot…there is a GPS on our local buses that will give an accurate ETA of the bus arrival time.
