I made a thread on this but I thought I may as well try to post in here.
Hi,
I have an issue with porting my number from Wind. I ported my phone over 2 days ago. I was able to get public mobile LTE. I am able to send/receive texts and make phone calls. However, I am unable to receive phone calls.
I was notified that I inputted a wrong PIN number during the initial setup. I subsequently filled out 'contact us' form with the correct PIN number from wind. This was also confirmed by wind's customer service. They notified me of my account number and PIN which would enable Public Mobile complete the port. Again, I have filled out that form under 'contact us' with the new information.
I was wondering if someone could look into my situation for me to double check that everything from Public Mobile's side is updated.
Further, I did the same mistake for my Dad as he is also porting his number over.

Hi, I've created an account, choose my plan anbd put in my credit card number. The credit card got charge. But the sim card won't activate. It keep saying no sim card. I've put it in 2 unlocked phones . Also i've choose the 10 day plan; so this is costing me money

Are you able to help me with my incomplete port from Rogers?
I have some service on the PublicMobile sim (no incoming text callling), and my rogers sim is still active(yikes still paying for that plan currently)
I kind of looked most of the responses over, I think I need the help of a mod to push the port through.

I was on Fido and my phone was unlocked. I registered for PM and activated the SIM and paid the fee. No problems. But when I got my PM SIM and inserted it, I am getting an invalid SIM error.
I emailed tech support yesterday and still havent got a response. I am kinda annoyed that this seems to be a recurring problem and PM still hasnt resolved this issue for many users

Same issue as FTham. After submitting payment information to finalize order, I get 404 - timeout error. Now it won't accept my SIM card number.

Try to activate sim card with the $120 /90days plan. Failed on the last steps. Try to do the activate process again but say sim card is invalid.

I've attempted to sign up and got a server error; since then I've had no account, no porting, no service, no response to two posts here nor a PM. Despite the charge has gone through on my credit card.
It doesn't look like I'm alone; if you're being overwhelmed because of the promotion, then fine - that's understandable. But what's not understandable is this complete lack of communication. If it's going to take a few days to get to things, tell me. If I need to register again, send me a new SIM so I can do so. If you have different instructions for different types of activation problems, tell us.
Right now, I've received nothing except a -$120.00 charge. Like I said, I'm OK waiting for you to catch up if that's what you need to do, but I'm not OK with you not telling me anything. If you don't want to communicate with me, I'm more than happy to issue a chargeback and I'll take my buesiness elsewhere.

Hey everyone!
I just ported my number over from Rogers. I'd thought the activation didn't work at first because it told me "Your activation request has failed. Please contact Public Mobile for help."
But then I got kind of curious and stuck the PublicMobile sim in my phone to test the size and the network works. There is data and outgoing calls.
It seems that incoming calls are still going to my old Rogers sim (its kind of cool to have 2 lines but the Rogers acct is still active-and charging me out the butt Yikes!)
Just some additional info:
I havent recieved the text from PubMobile that "your port was successful"
Data and all calls working on Rogers sim, incoming texts too
Data and outgoing working on PubMobile sim, no incoming texts or calls
I am able to login to PubMobile Selfserve acct
I've gone over most of the incomplete port tickets and it seems I need a Mod to help me port properly and close my old acct. So @Shazia_K

Geat news @Shazia_K I got the account created. Now how do I get the plan changed from just talk and text to the promo? I tried to do it but it said it wouldn't take effect unitl Nov 12th. Can you do this from your end?
I don't see a way to forward the mail I sent to you regarding my son's activation so I pm'ed you a copy and pasted version. I hope that will work.

It's now been four days since my activation failed, no mechanism of getting into the self-serve account and the CC has been charged. There seems to be absolutely no feedback in terms of what's happening, any idea of ETA of when the issue will be resolved, if the issue of registration that caused the failure in the first place is now fixed.
Can someone please shed some kind of light on this? Can we expect to get any response or should customers look to dispute the CC charge? Can someone atleast have the courtesy of a brief response?

Hi @Shazia_K I just rec'd a call from Dianne in tech support re: the open ticket. My wife's phone now has service. Calling/text is OK but it's saying I need a data add on to access the web and I still can't get into her account. Also, please look into my last pm because my son, who I set up on another account, is also without service. Thanks.
