Need Public Mobile to unlock my iPhone

Have SIM card and have registered with Public mobile to set up service. My iphone is from my previous carrier Virgin and needs to be unlocked by Public mobile in order for the SIM card to work. There is no hardware issue with my phone. thx

I actually unlocked a virgin mobile phone last week by calling them...only took 5 minutes and as you probably know there is no charge.

Hello...if your phone was a virgin mobile device you must contact them to unlock your device...PM cannot unlock another carriers device.

So what do you mean unlocked by public mobile usually it’s your old provider that needs to do that one sadly as that’s who it was locked to.

Hey how you doing. In actual fact if your Iphone is locked you will need to contact whoever you got the phone from. I am guessing Virgin just email them with your old phone number account number. With the public mobile sim istalled is it asking for the unlock code? Good Luck to you
