But again the number can't be active on 2 different carriers
There would be termination errors and the number itself will stop working (it would get black listed)
When you traced it which carrier shows as primary?

If I understood correctly you changed your old PM number to a new PM number. PM only allows you to change numbers once a month a believe.
I am not sure they will do this but, if you order a new sim, you can ask them to cancel your account, and create a new account for you with your current plan and time remaining.
something similar to http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/BIG-ISSUE-Need-help-urgently/m-p/1566...
I know PM suggested they could do something similar for a number that got ported incorrectly.
again not sure if possible, but that woudl get around the once a month number change.
ask nicley and hopefully PM will be able to make someting work.

@bigtone7676 if this is something really related to your new phone number, just nicely request the mods to change your number again. The problem should go away then.

@bigtone7676, are you saying the moderators won't do anything for you in terms of changing your number a second time. Under these circumstances, it seems a little harsh.

@bigtone7676 with Bell?
Not possible it is working at Bell and working at Public (Telus) same time
Unless someone is pranking you
Take first 6 digits of phone number (area code + exchange) and cross reference here:
http://www.cnac.ca/co_codes/co_code_status.htm
Then trace it to see what carrier it is on

not there old number....they still haveit and have for past five years with bell.im getting very sensative and private text about this ladys life and shes getting my mine

If you took someone else's old number of course you will get their messages (and collection calls) but there is no way for this other person to get any of your text / calls
Why do you think that happened?
