My sim card is not activated

In my phone it says no sim card no network,

i do not know whom to contact to activate it

to register account i have to get massage in sim, so i did not get any massage 

while i bought phone i got i placed it on auto payment 

i am loosing money what should i do?

No sim card message could mean that it is not in properly.  Sim could be defective.  What's the exact message?

Ok, it would have been better to select a new temporary number during activation and then do the port after. Just keep restarting your phone and it should come up once Chatr releases the number. If it doesnt connect in the next hour then you need to contact Public Mobile here. 

The link sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

Moderator Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am(Eastern) to 12 am(Eastern) and Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am(Eastern) to 10 pm(Eastern).

Porting may take a few hours, be patient.  But usually some functions will work sooner.  I think I could call but not receive calls...

yes it was activated, i was porting my number from chatr to public so they told me to wait

On the self-service page, does it say your account is active ?  What does it say under "My plan" ?

Did you activate the SIM at the store?

it is used, though it is unlocked i got unlock code from rogers, other card works

Could the phone be locked ?  Is it new or used ?  How old is it ?
