I want to transfer my mobile network to another carrier, but since I lost my phone, which had an eSIM installed, I can't receive the transfer confirmation SMS. What should I do?

@EricBC if your new replacement phone supports eSIM you can install the PM app on the device and "purchase" another eSIM. Since you already had one you will not be billed for another one. Once you have that setup then you can request your new company to initiate the number transfer and you should receive a text from PM whereby you will have 90 minutes to respond yes
If the new phone does not support eSIM you will need to reach out to a CS agent as @NDesai has suggested

I don't want to buy a new SIM card only to cancel it later; that would be very wasteful.

How to contact PM CS_Agent to get this sorted?

@EricBC You need to contact PM CS_Agent to get this sorted. Alternatively, you can buy a physical sim from local store or Amazon to use on your new phone. You will have to update the SIM number from your self-serve account.
