The phone number I picked is used

but I can make calls and messages but can’t receive them 

it goes to another person

hi @LPottle 

this is a weird glitch with Telus and PM.  You have no choice but to pick another number.  Check if you can login My Account and use email to receive 2FA.  then go to Profile page and choose another number 

if you cannot login, then also support agent help

message them

This means that Public Mobile has mistakenly allowed you to choose a phone number that is already in used. This is a glitch that has been in the Telus system for years, and Telus actually assigned my phone number to a new customer at one point.  Unfortunately, you'll have to choose a new phone number.  That can be done from within your Self Serve account. However, since call and text messages are probably going to the other person, you won't be able to get the 2FA code to log into your Self Serve account.  In that case, you would need to send a private message to the user CS_Agent for help.
