My phone number is calling random people...

Hi there

I am getting numerous people (not contacts of mine) calling me saying I just called them. Is something wrong with my sim or is a scammer using my phone number to spoof call people? Either way, what can I do about this? Thanks

this is Caller ID spoofing. Scammer use system to fake the caller id to fool people to think a real person is calling and not those annoying sale calls. The one receive that call see your number and not aware of caller id spoofing and hence call you back and ask

Sorry, there is really nothing much you can do to stop, but you didn't have anything compromised.  So, no worry

It's a scammer spoofing your number. Unfortunately you can't do anything about it. This happens to everyone.
