My Public Mobile number is being used by someone and it is not me

I've been getting call backs and texts regarding my cellphone number. Apparently, someone is using my cellphone number to call and text people, and it's not me. Has anyone else had this issue?

Most likely your number is spoofed by scammers and people called and seeing your  number try to contact you and complain.

As mentioned spoofed numbers are easy to set up to annoy us all.  I turn on DND 24/7 and reject any numbers that are not in my contacts. You still may get a voicemail and will show in recents. From their I decide to listen to voicemail or not or to block the number from recents.  It works.

@MikerzJunior hi someone may be spoofing your number,not alot can be done about it but they usually move on in a few days
