This June 2024: my cell phone bill is 6 dollars more without change of service or notice of increase. I am not happy with public moblie who I always trusted why now?

It's up to each individual customer to check for the points balance and to decide when to redeem.

I totally agree, loss of loyalty and auto pay … time to check around for other service providers.

Due to the switch to points, all legacy rewards customers lost their monthly discounts (ie. autopay and loyalty)

Which plan are you on? You may want to have a look at some of the new PM plans.

You may want to consider these following plans:

$19/month for 1 GB LTE

$29/month for 10 GB LTE

$34/month for 50 GB Canada/US LTE

$40/month for 75 GB Canada/US LTE

Some of these plans may be cheaper than some of the grandfathered plans.

For example, it makes sense for any old $25 plan 1GB 3G to switch over to the $19 plan.  Basically paying the same without the legacy rewards (ie. autopay and loyalty).

PM provided several notices earlier.

You were *force migrated* to the (universally bad) Points system at some point so no more benefits from the old Rewards system.

15 points required for $15 bill credit.

you were wondering where the autopay/loyalty discount/friend rewards gone?   PM has ended that old system and moved everyone to the new Public Points!!.  They had an announcement back on the Community in March and they sent out text and email about the change

So, now you have to pay full price first and PM will give you back points after.  Instead of loyalty rewards monthly, you get 10 points per year on your anniversary date with Public Mobile.  Instead of $2 autopay discount, you get 5% of your plan in points.

And the points are useful to reduce the bill. After you got 15+ points, you will go to rewards site to redeem 15 points for $15 bill credit

as of last month, the old Rewards program was scrapped and replaced with points. Now, you pay full costs but get 5% back in points. Once you have 15 points you can apply them against renewal.
