I was about to go and buy the iphone 15. I currently have an Iphone 12 mini which has a physical sim tray
However, I was told the iphone 14 and 15 no longer have a physical sim tray
So how can anyone upgrade to the iphone 15 which has been out since last year in October i believe?
Do i have to convert the physical sim to an esim? And if so how? As I wont be able to insert it into the phone.
I hope someone out there has the answer

@JONMILLS Make sure the iPhone 15 is the Canadian version, which still has the sim tray and you can just switch sims as @BKNS27 said. If you do want or need an esim for the iPhone 15 you would just download the Public Mobile app on the new phone, log in to your account and purchase an esim (I believe it is $5 and not $10 for an esim).

The Canadian iPhone 14 and 15 does have a SIM tray and a eSIM. I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max and can confirm.
Only the USA version have dual eSIM.
Just power off the phone and pop out the nano SIM then put it in your new iPhone. eSIM will cost you $10 if you want it in your new phone.
I would suggest you use the eSIM while travelling to another countries.
