Exactly. If people are patient and properly fill in the information correctly the port over and transition should be smooth.

I dont understand why the rush? even if it is only half of the promo 6 GB is still a big number. so unless it's been half of 90 days I don't see why people complain that it is not there yet and they only spent a couple of days since registration.
Due to the heavy requests of problems plaguing the system now every thing is being delayed, nothing will happen if you wait an other week. You will not lose the promo, it is clear for mods when you registered and from Where so it should be easy for them to add it when they finish dealing with people with more serious issues. So my suggestion for now is to enjoy Canada day celebrations, have fun with family and friends and the extra 6 GB will be added without you noticing. And if in 10 days from now you still look and cannot find it there then send an email to mods saying that 6GB are missing. Until then I am sure you will not probably burn half of the current 6 GB you have now.
Here is how to contact a mod 10 days from now, when the system will be lighter and they can respond to your problem within 30 mins.

The systems is rather backlogged at the moment, it does take some time for the bonus data to be added as already mentioned.
