We can call each other, but that's it; Neither of us can receive calls from anyone else.
I ported my phone number from Fido, and when I get a friend to call me, it goes straight to the voicemail that I set up with Fido (with my own personalized voice note I had set up years ago - I have not yet set up PM voicemail)
My wife needed a new phone number altogether, but someone else already has the number that PM gave my wife! So when I call it, I get through to my wife, but when my friend calls it, she reaches the other person who's had that number for 5 years!
And neither of us can get the authentication text from "eversafe" to get any further into our online accounts. We're totally stuck, and get no replies to our tickets.
I expected bad customer service, being that nobody will get on the phone and resolve issues directly, but I thought maybe it wouldn't matter once the lines are setup; I didn't realize these sort of nightmare issues could even happen just getting activated.

I was able to go through those steps recently with a port-support person.
Originally during activation, I didn't receive that text from Fido, because I couldn't get that far into the process, because I was blocked by "eversafe" saying it would send a text message with a confirmation code which never came (resends failed as well). So, upon hitting that wall in the activation process, I switched sim cards (which it now seems was premature, though what choice did I have...), and did then receive email confirmation that the activation was successful, but with this issue lingering.
The step-by-step process definitely loses clarity once that "eversafe" code comes into play, and the text does not come through, nor can it be sent by email.

Try reset the network settings and reboot your phone but it could be a porting issue that was incomplete.
