Mexico plan

Yesterday had upgraded my plan to include Mexico and requested it to start at the end of my billing cycle I'm November 17th is it possible for me to change that to start immediately without getting double billed?

I was lead to believe yesterday when I requested it to start at the end of the billing cycle that the charge would be going through immediately for the $40 price of the new plan even though the plan didn't upgrade until November 17th at the end of my billing cycle?

Fully aware of the option of buying a local SIM card.

There is a whole stack of reasons why  having your own phone operational for a month while you're in another country is first Superior than buying a local SIM card... I think that should be pretty evident.

you will not be charged anything until your new plan takes affect. If you opted for Change on Renwal… that’s when your new plan is your new regular plan.

Hello.

Here is a different way to look at it. How often are you going to Mexico? 3-5 times a year? If so, then changing to that plan has value. However, if you're only going once or twice a year, maybe switching to that plan isn't worth it. Why not just grab another sim card for $5 off Amazon and start a secondary account a week before you go. This way in case there are any bugs with the set up, you'll have time to resolve it. Then, keep your original sim card at home when you go so you don't lose it. Then when you return from your trip, just log into that account and turn off autopay and then that plan will close at the end of the 30 days. Easy as that. People always want to change plans but never think of adding a second temporary plan as a solution. Hope this idea helps.

PM won't charge immediately if you choose Change on Renewal.  So, all you did was to schedule a an change.

If you want to start the new plan today's and don't mind PM to charge you the new plan now, just go back to Subscription and  add-on page, cancel the scheduled change firstz then go back to Change Subscription page and choose Change Now (PM will then charge you the new plan amount, but won't partial refund the 9 days left with your current cycle)
