Hi Community, 

We are aware that some of our customers have been experiencing data-related issues. Our teams are actively investigating intermittent data issues affecting some customers.

If you are having problems connecting to your mobile data services, try one of the following steps to restore data:

  • Toggle Airplane mode ON, wait 30 seconds, and switch it back off
  • Restart your device

In many cases, these steps will restore your connection temporarily at least. Until the issue is resolved, you may need to repeat them periodically.

Rest assured, our internal team is working to get this resolved as soon as possible and we’ll share any updates when we have them here.

Update 1 (4:14pm ET, May 27): Thank you for providing your examples, our network team is continuing to work towards a resolution. We don't require any further examples, and will provide all new updates in this post, as soon as they become available.

Update 2 (2:09pm ET, May 28): Thank you for your patience as our teams have worked to restore services to their normal state. At this time, your service should once again be functioning normally. Please follow the steps listed above (airplane mode on/off, restart your device), to restore your service.

It started a few days ago on two separate phones.  I tried resetting the mobile network and Wi-Fi network.  Toggling airplane mode fixes it temporarily.  The problem always occurs when going between my Wi-Fi network and mobile network.

This problem started yesterday in Kitchener Waterloo.

At first i thought it was a Samsung one ui 8.5 bug.

The airplane mode trick does work to restore data.

started around 10am. I can only get LTE and to has been dropping after a while. Rebooting temporarily recovers it. Please fix asap!!

Began ~ 7am AST on May 26th.

Phone calls and SMS work on 3G. Will only connect to 4G/LTE or 5G for a brief moment but nothing will happen internet/data wise.

My wife and I have both been experiencing data drops. It has been going on for a couple of days now. We have done airplane mode and restarted. None of that works. It is on your end. I can make a phone call but the data flow is quitting all the time.

I have been without data for the last 4 days. Its definitely an inconvenience, especially when you use your phone for work at times. I hope this matter is resolved soon.

Been persistently ongoing since may 25th.  A restart brings service back up for a bit but then goes back off.  North East New Brunswick.

GTA - Toronto downtown

persistent where data would drop off. I’ve reset network settings, restarted phone, and toggle airplane mode. Data works for maybe 10 mins

signal strength has also been spotty.

Persistent issue began May 25th in southern ontario. I’ll restart my phone to get data, then after about ten minutes I have no data again and have to restart my phone again. Your customers should be getting some compensation considering how much we pay for poor service.

Hasn't been working at all today. Tried boggling airplane mode and turned device off. Neither worked.
