We are aware that some of our customers have been experiencing data-related issues. Our teams are actively investigating intermittent data issues affecting some customers.
If you are having problems connecting to your mobile data services, try one of the following steps to restore data:
In many cases, these steps will restore your connection temporarily at least. Until the issue is resolved, you may need to repeat them periodically.
Rest assured, our internal team is working to get this resolved as soon as possible and we’ll share any updates when we have them here.
Update 1 (4:14pm ET, May 27): Thank you for providing your examples, our network team is continuing to work towards a resolution. We don't require any further examples, and will provide all new updates in this post, as soon as they become available.
Update 2 (2:09pm ET, May 28): Thank you for your patience as our teams have worked to restore services to their normal state. At this time, your service should once again be functioning normally. Please follow the steps listed above (airplane mode on/off, restart your device), to restore your service.
Update 3 (4:35pm ET, May 28): Our technical teams have completed additional updates to resolve any residual issues that some customers were experiencing. Any remaining customers that were experiencing issues should once again follow the airplane mode steps listed above to restore services to their normal state. For anyone that is still experiencing issues with their services, please open a support ticket for further assistance.

The issue started 1-2 days ago, I can see I have full bars but no LTE/5G. Airplane mode and turning off my eSIM works temporarily but the issue is persistent. Turning off cellular data in my iPhone settings does not work. I also reset my network settings which worked longer than the airplane mode method but this was still temporary and the issue persists. Located in Cape Breton Nova Scotia

Experiencing same issues Nova scotia. Started morning of May 26. Reboot fixes issue temporarily but reverts back to data issues

Started yesterday where i had no cell service. Turned off my phone and the issue resolved. Happened again twice today so far!

Doing the airplane mode and reset connected me back on the Public network. But it is an EXTREMELY slow connection

The toggle airplane mode worked for me. But speed is very slow. Getting 12mbps download. Thanks.

Experiencing this issue. I noticed it started yesterday May 26 and has been going through periods of working and not working. Today while I was away from a wifi network it happened multiple times. Turning off my phone once did not fix the issue. I had to do it two or three times each time it happened.
My husband is having the same issue but his has been happening since Monday. I am typically on a wireless network & he is not so maybe it has been happening to me but I did not realize. He’s had to turn off his phone at least three times in a row after work today to get data working again.
This is very inconvenient and we are disappointed in how unreliable it has been.
We are located in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Lingan and Sydney to be more exact.

you still need to reboot phone
PM will fix it, but you need to reboot your phone to recycle the service or it will got stuck at the disconnected state

Same issue here. Started yesterday, May 26th in the morning, 9am. Restarting and toggling airplane mode works for 2-5 minutes, but the connection is still slow.

This is not a problem with our cellphones. Don't frustrate yourself by resetting all your cellphone info and re-entering it. PB needs to fix this on their end

Adding to my initial reply; I believe this issue started yesterday May 26 or the day before as my data dropped while I was driving. All members of my family are having issues; hoping PM resolves this soon.

Data issues started yesterday May 26 around afternoon intermittently. Scarborough/North York. Today, May 27 data down since morning, but just resolved with airplane mode. SMS is very unreliable since yesterday. I use an older 4G Samsung. My wife has a 5G iPhone and having intermittent issues around same time.
